Two days ago, with the full permission of the Thibaw Government, Chinese paramilitary forces entered the northern region of Thibaw to protect the safety of Chinese assets. There was engagement with the Udip terroristic group. Chinese forces have since pulled back to the Chinese border upon the assurance from the Thibaw Government that there will not be any further provocations.
