London Daily Bugle January 20th 2010
Lily Vale, Finance Editor speculates in an article in today's Finance and Economics section today that increased trading in Wordsworth Energy shares in recent days may have been spurred by the recent article in the prestigious Mentor newsmagazine.
This article highlighted remarks by Jonathan Fong of Open Books International expressing a degree of confidence that Wordsworth's presence in the "Hermit Republic" of Thibaw might lead to an improvement of conditions there.
"OBI's intervention offsets to some degree the thinly-disguised attack on Wordsworth recently made by respected British novelist Sir William Dodd," says Ms. Dale,"and the increased trade in Wordsworth shares may reflect further purchases by Ethical-Investment Mutual Funds."
Wordsworth shares closed at 326, up from 320 at the start of the year.
