During OBI’s August press conference, the agency expressed concern with Wordsworth Energy’s ethics and morals with a harsh “B-“ rating. Jonathan Fong of OBI suggests that NGOs should bridge the gap between the Thibawan government and Wordsworth. In an analogy, Fong suggested the need to “invent a dog” so that both parties can “speak the same language.” This elusive analogy will make it difficult for Wordsworth Energy to have a specific idea on how to raise their ratings in the future.
According to Iara Palacios of Wordsworth Energy, “This is ridiculous. We have been speaking to NGOs all along the way for support, and OBI would have known this if they simply would have asked us. They made these allegations without understanding the facts; in fact, they never approached us before making these comments. Wordsworth Energy continues its commitment to transparency and offers to speak with any party who seeks information.”
