In response to the libelous and unsubstantiated accusations of misconduct by a Patriot staff member and misappropriate use of funds, The Patriot vehemently denies any involvement in these acts and reaffirms its commitment to promoting truth in journalism.
It is interesting that the accusations came from an anonymous source. By the nature of our industry, The Patriot is often prone to develop critics whose claims against the paper have no credibility. The Patriot will continue to report the truth because the public has a right to know, even if it means that The Patriot will come under fire from those who do not want the truth reported.
